TAEKWONDO ITF NEPAL HOLDS 10TH INTER-SCHOOL TKD CHAMPIONSHIPS 2026 SUCESSFULLY

Taekwondo ITF Nepal Organized 10th Inter-school Taekwondo ITF Championship successfully at Chittapol Basketball Hall in Bhaktapur on 31st January 2026.

206 Players and official were participants from 17 different schools in one day event for 44 gold, 44 silver, 88 bonze for individual sparring and pattrens categories.

Team Champion trophy winner was Chakrajyoti School, Kavre with 13 gold, 2 silver, 6 bronze medals, Sunakhari Pathshala, Kathmandu team second with 7 gold, 4 silver and 17 bronze medals and Biketeshwor English School, Kavre team third with 5 gold, 4 silver, 8 bronze medals.

Best Player (male) was bagged by Siddartha Bhujel (Eden Garden School,Bhaktapur) similarly, Best Player (female) was Mingma Damchoi Lama (Chakrajyoti School, Kavre).

Medals and Trophys were distributed by the Ward Chairpersons of Suryabinayak Municipality ward no.9 and 10, President of Taekwondo ITF Nepal, Laxman Basnet and Competition coordinator Gayaji Khadka.

In the meantime Master Laxman Basnet distributed 5th Degree Black Belt certificate to Sabum  Gayaji Khadka and 1st to 3rd degree certificats to others 33 Students.

Tournament Director and President of Taekwondo ITF Nepal, Master Laxman  Basnet passed congratulations to all participants and winners and  thankful to all the helping hands that reached out to make this one day event successful.
