Master Nicholls in the Czech Republic

ITF President Grand Master Choi Jung Hwa in Argentina
On June 4th, 2008 the President of the International Taekwon-do Federation, Master Choi Jung Hwa IX degree, son of the Taekwon-do’s Founder, arrived to Argentina after 6 years of absence, to dictate seminars and courses all around the country for over 20 days.

1st Open World Cup Punta del Este, Uruguay
The 1st Open World Cup was carried out from November 5th to 9th at Punta del Este, Uruguay. Over 700 athletes participated coming from Chile, Spain, Brazil, Peru, Canada, Paraguay, Venezuela, Wales, England, Scotland, Italy, Argentina and Uruguay.

An ITF Interational Umpire and Referee's Course was recently held in the Oriel House Hotel, Ballincollig, Cork Ireland. This was the second time that Master Galarraga VIII had instructed this course for ITF Ireland.

Master Wheatley Seminar
For the eighth time in eight years, eighth degree black belt, Master Robert Wheatley visited Newtown Mount Kennedy, County Wicklow, to chair a Black Belt Grading followed by a Technical Seminar. Students from several clubs affiliated to Eireann ITF (INO 300) were tested by Master Wheatley and a panel made up of the following senior Black Belts;

The XIX the SENIOR ITF, X JUNIOR and II VETERAN EUROPEAN TAEKWON-DO CHAMPIONSHIPS and II EUROPE CUP 2008, took place in July 4th to 6th in Cagliari, Sardeña the current year. The event was organized by the ITF TaeKwon-Do Italy “Choi Jung Wha Organization” with the direction and coordination of the tournament comité composed by Master Pier Paolo Lecca VII Dan, Master Antonio Troiano VII Dan, and the International Instructor Mr. Carlos Martin VI Dan like Umpire Director. Fifteen countries participated in an event that arrived to Italy after the last edition made in Germany in 2006.

President Choi IIC in Ireland
This was to be the second International Instructors course with Master Choi in Cork and the excitement was palpable. Organized by Mrs. Patricia Dalton to an incredible degree of finesse from an exceptionally fine hotel at a very reasonable cost to a wonderful banquet and probably three of the most exciting days we have ever spent.

Taekwon-Do I.T.F. (South Korea)
The quantity and quality of the I.T.F.’s practitioners in South Korea has grown in a surprising way in the last years: over 800 instructors, from fourth degree and above, are today teaching in that country.
