BackITF meet with the World Ethnosport Confederation

Grand Master Choi Nestor Galarraga and Choi José Maidana participated in an official meeting at the headquarters of the World Ethnosport Confederation in Istanbul, Turkey, representing Original Taekwon-Do ITF, as a traditional sport.

General Secretary Sami Serdar and Sports Director of Institutional and Corporate Relations M. Levent Akici also represented the entity at the meeting, the primary goal of which was to establish agreements for the political and sporting collaboration between both entities.

Galarraga, who represents The Argentinian Sports Confederation, discussed the difficulty that non-Olympic sports are going through in Argentina, and established an agenda for future meetings. Both entities promised to establish agreements of mutual collaboration.

Another topic focused on the development of Taekwon-Do ITF in Turkey, which is of particular interest to Grand Master Galarraga.

Sami Serdar, General Secretary of Ethnosport, showed interest in collaborating in the development of alternative sports, referring to the problems that exist within different countries, since most governments only focus on Olympic sports.

On the other hand, M. Levent Akici, Sports Director of Institutional and Corporate Relations, referred to traditional sports as the open door to the millennial culture, which is  very important for education and development  of future generations.

M. Maidana, ITF Umpire Chair, talked about the details of the Asian Championship recently organized by the organization (in the city of Cholpon-Ata in Province of Issyk-kul in Kyrgyzstan) as well as future tournaments in the region, referring to the World Cup that will be held in 2021 in Seoul, South Korea and the following Asian Championship held in Beijing, China in 2022. He invited all the representatives to be present at the World Cup in Seoul, South Korea.

Most of the topics were about the problems that the original sports are going through in their general development, and how to leverage efforts to find solutions for the future, considering traditional sports as a main source of exchange and cultural development for future generations.

We look forward to a meeting with the President entity Necmeddin Bilal Erdogan.

en la cede central de la World Ethnosport Confederation, en Istanbul Turquía.
En la reunión estuvieron presentes en representación de la entidad, Sami SERDAR Secretario general y M. Levent AKICI Director Deportivo y de Relaciones Institucionales y corporativas.
El objetivo fundamental de la reunión fue establecer acuerdos para el futuro político y deportivo de ambas entidades.
Galarraga por su parte como representante de la Confederación Argentina de Deportes, expuso sobre la problemática que atraviesa el deporte NO OLÍMPICO en la Republica Argentina y estableció agenda para futuros encuentros. Ambas entidades se comprometieron en establecer acuerdos de mutua colaboración.
Otro de los temas, estuvo enfocado sobre el desarrollo del Taekwon-Do ITF en Turquía, Debido a que el
G. M Galarraga tiene sobre el tema un particular interés.
Sami SERDAR Secretario General de Ethnosport manifestó su interés en colaborar con el desarrollo de los  deportes alternativos, refiriéndose  a la problemática existente en los diferentes países, debido a que los gobiernos ponen únicamente su interés en los deportes Olímpicos.
Por otra parte M. Levent AKICI director de deporte y relaciones institucionales y corporativas, se refirió a los deportes tradicionales como la puerta de entrada a una cultura milenaria, imprescindible para la educación y la formación de las nuevas y futuras generaciones.
M. Maidana director de árbitros de ITF, habló sobre los detalles del campeonato Asiático recientemente Organizado por la Organización, en la ciudad Cholpon-Ata en la Provincia de Issyk-kul en kyrgyzstan y realizó un informe sobre los próximos torneos en la region, refiriéndose a la Copa del Mundo que será Organizada el año próximo en Seúl Corea (2021), y el próximo Campeonato Asiatico a realizarse en la ciudad de Beijing en China (2022),  Invitando a los representantes de la entidad a presenciar la Copa del Mundo en Seul Corea.
Todos los temas versaron acerca de la problemática que atraviesan los  deportes originales en su desarrollo general y cómo sumar esfuerzos para encontrar soluciones de cara al futuro, entendiendo el deporte tradicional como la principal vertiente de intercambio y desarrollo Cultural para las nuevas generaciones.
No se descarta en los próximos meses una reunión con el Presidente de la entidad. Necmeddin Bilal Erdogan.
