Dear ITF Members and Leaders,

As you are aware, every year President Choi, as part of our moral and cultural development, encourages us to give back to our communities. A few  countries such as Argentina do this as a year-round project, working with the under-privileged, providing hot meals, snacks and clothing. Some such as Alaska and others do an intensive food drive campaign, receiving literally thousands of pounds of canned and nonperishable foods items to donate to food pantries, hospitals, orphanages, and those in need.

As we look forward to the Annual Drive this year please read the following message from our President:

“The world is hit once again with economic difficulties, natural disasters and worse, wars brought on by human greed and discrimination.

Compassion and understanding are needed more than ever to help the weak and the needy.

I am proud that Grand Master Suzan Crochet is once again launching the campaign to alleviate the suffering of the many.

I encourage all ITF members to participate in this humanitarian effort.

Taekwon,

Choi Jung Hwa”

Recognizing that many schools reach out to their communities in different ways, we want to encourage all of you to begin reviewing your documentation on how you are giving back to your communities so you can submit that information to the Giving Back campaign in December.  November traditionally is our Annual Food Drive.  Everyone is encouraged to participate and find ways to help your community by providing for those less fortunate.  More information will be coming out with respect to how to document and share your efforts as part of the ITF Giving Back Campaign.

Thank you for participating and making a difference!
