On 10 August 2026, Grand Master Michael Muleta, Deputy Secretary-General of the International Taekwon-do Federation (ITF), President of ITF-Australia and 9th-dan Black Belt, visited Loudi, Hunan Province, for a high-level international Taekwon-do masterclass and black-belt promotion ceremony.

At the beginning of the event, Grand Master Michael Muleta delivered an exclusive international masterclass for the 50 attending black-belt participants. Drawing on ITF’s latest global teaching system, he gave systematic instruction on international-standard patterns, sparring techniques, core training essentials and competition regulations. He carefully corrected participants’ technical details and shared elite martial-arts training philosophies. With direct access to cutting-edge international teaching resources, the participants achieved marked improvements in their technical proficiency and international training vision.

Upon the successful conclusion of the masterclass, the official ITF international Taekwon-do black-belt presentation ceremony was held. In strict accordance with official ITF international criteria, Grand Master Muleta formally conferred international black-belt dan grades on the 50 trainees, providing authoritative certification of their professional competence and further standardising the development of the regional ITF dan-grading system.

Combining skill enhancement through international master instruction and professional accreditation via official dan certification, this event has built a premium platform for in-depth Sino-foreign Taekwon-do exchanges.
