ITF 3^rd Annual Food Drive Is Under Way

With just over a month left in this year’s food drive, some schools have already started reporting their donations.  Our total at this time is 12,000 lbs. (5443 kgs.) of food donated to food banks, hospitals, and churches.  One school owner went out and bought two 25 kg. bags of rice to donate.  It all adds up.  Alaska was able to donate over 300 turkeys.  Others have donated bags of potatoes, cereals, and peanut butter.  Another school donated coats and sweaters.  I have been told another school is donating blankets.  

There is still time to find a local charity and work with your students to help grow the dream of everyone giving back to their communities.  

Participation is easy: 

1. Pick a charity. 
2. Work with your students to collect the items for the charity.
3. On or before December 30^th, send an email to [email protected] and include a picture, the types and number of items donated, the name of the school(s), and the country.  For example: 50 pounds or KG of food, INO xxx, from _____; include a picture or receipt from the charity.
4. Deliver items to charity or arrange for the items to be picked up.
