On 25th and 26th of May 2013, the National Federation of
Taekwon-Do of Chile organised the following
activities in the city of Puerto Montt, 1000 Km south of Santiago, the
capital of Chile.
The activities started on 25th of May with the second Master Class in this area directed by the ITF
representative for South America, Master Nestor Galarraga, VIII dan from
50 ITF practitioners from Perú,
Argentina and Chile participated in this event.
Topics explained in this
seminar were biomechanics behind tul movements, hosin sul techniques, training
methods for sport competition and explanation of some philosophical concepts.
Next day, May 26th, realized
the VI International Taekwon-do Championship with participants from Arica, La Serena,
Santiago, Quilpue, Alerce, Puerto Montt, Viña del Mar, Bariloche, Cipolleti ( Argentina) , Lima
(Perú) , and the host, Puerto Montt, with a total 130 competitors.
Competitions were held in tuls and
sparring, all undertaken with respect and martial attitude, which was
much appreciated by the public and local authorities.
