On October 30-31, 2010, Uzbekistan welcomed ITF President Grand Master Choi Jung Hwa and Senior Vice President Master Volmir Ligay for international master class given by Grand Master Choi Jung Hwa.

Center of Traditional Taekwon-Do Uzbekistan welcomed participants and instructors from CIS countries such as Russia, Kazakhstan, Georgia. Registration and warm up was held by masters Eduard Li (8 Dan, Uzbekistan), Rudolf Kan (7 Dan, Russia) and Gairat Kosimov (7 Dan, President of Center of Traditional Taekwon-Do Uzbekistan).

120 participants comprehended subtleties of martial arts. Many different techniques were shown during seminar and many techniques were explained on how to achieve spiritual, physical and technical perfection.   Translation to English for participants was done very well by Master Volmir Ligay and his son Vasiliy Ligay and was very much appreciated.

By the end of the seminar, highly qualified commission under the direction of Grand Master Choi Jung Hwa accepted examinations for Black Belt Degree.  Out of 30 candidates, 17 have passed the exam. Among them: 1st Dan – 7 people, 2nd Dan – 4 people, 3rd Dan – 2 people, 4th Dan – 2 people, 5th Dan – 2 people.  Also skill degrees were confirmed for those who joined ITF Taekwon-Do. confirmed: 1st Dan – 2 people, 3rd Dan – 2 people, 4th Dan – 5 people, 6th Dan – 2 people.

As a sign of trust and strengthening positions of Uzbekistan in Central Asian region, Alexander Hegay head coach of Center of Traditional Taekwon-Do Uzbekistan has been awarded 7th Dan.
