Morningstar Taekwon-Do Raises $15,000 for Charity
On September 24th, 2005, Mr. Mike Morningstar (ITF VI Dan) and chief instructor of Morningstar Taekwon-Do once again put the human body to the test of endurance and perseverance, holding his sixth break-a-thon since the school’s inception in 1988.

ITF Panamerican Championship
The ITF Panamerican Championships commenced on Friday. Over 700 competitors registered to participate including participants from South Africa, UK, Ireland and Italy, as well as representation from nearly all of the Americas, including for the first time in eleven years, a team from Cuba.

UKITF Senior Grading
The ITF Senior Degree grading was held on Friday 23 September. The importance of the occasion was highlighted by the distinguished grading panel on the day, lead by two 8th Degree Masters: Master Trevor Nicholls (VIII Dan) and Master Roy Oldham (VIII Dan) who were assisted by Master Jim Hogan (VII Dan), Mr Mark Ogborne (VI Dan), Mr Mandeep Rauli (V Dan) and Mr John Archer (V Dan).

Coaches Name Team Europe
Coaches, Mr. Don Dalton, 6th Dan (Ireland) and Mr. Fabio Caiazzo, 5th Dan (Italy) have today announced the team that will represent Europe at the forthcoming Intercontinental Cup between the Americas and Europe. The event will be hosted by Argentina on October 8, during the ITF PanAmerican Championships.

Vice-President and Tournaments Director Visit Havana, Cuba
I am pleased to inform everyone about our recent trip to Havana, Cuba. On July 1, 2005, Master Galarraga joined me in Havana where he conducted the first Umpire Course ever given in Cuba. It was a special event because the course coincided with the 10th Anniversary of ITF in Cuba.

ITF Course Marks 30th Anniversary of Taekwon Do in Nigeria

2nd Can-Am Championships
On Saturday June 4th, 2005 the 2nd Can-Am Championships was held in Oakville, Ontario, Canada, by Morningstar Taekwon-Do. The tournament featured competitors from across Canada and the United States and boasted a head table of 18 instructors, including the President of the International Taekwon-Do Federation (ITF), Grandmaster Choi Jung Hwa and Vice President of the ITF, Mr. Michael Tibollo.

European Championships to be held in Germany 2006
On the 14th and 15th of May last month, at a seminar with Master Choi in Naples, Italy, Master Nicholls and I were invited to Westler Germany to attend the German ITF Open. Unfortunately, Master Choi could not attend as he was scheduled to give a seminar in Australia.
