ITF Ireland Soars
2007 has proven to be a fantastic year for the ITF in Ireland. The senior Irish men’s team and the senior Irish women’s team both won their respective team sparring sections in the 2007 ITF World Championships. ITF Ireland, INO 47, was an instrumental ingredient in this success with nine of the team members coming from the IUTF.

Mr. Dalton Conducts Workshop for TAA in Buenos Aires
Master Nestor Galarraga, Chairman of the ITF Umpire Committee, invited Don Dalton to Buenos Aires to conduct a special workshop at the Monte Grande dojang which is the centre of the Taekwon-Do Association of Argentina (TAA).

The International Irish Championships
The 2007 edition of the International Irish Championships was organised by Patricia Dalton (V) and was held in Neptune Stadium, Cork, City in November. This year’s event featured 194 black belts on the Saturday with colour belts competing on the following day.

Imperial Seminar & Banquet
Imperial Taekwon-Do 'South East Region' last official function for 2007. A seminar with Master Nicholls VIII Degree. With students ranging from White Belt to VI Degree a pattern specific seminar was out of the question. Drawing on his many years experience Master Nicholls was able to give a extremely well received seminar concentrating on the generation of power, utilising what we have now termed the Taekwon-Do Movement.

Master Parm Rai Seminar
On November 9th and 10th Master Parm Rai, ITF Treasurer, and Special Assistant to the President, traveled to All-Star Taekwon-Do in Fairfield, New Jersey to conduct 2 days of training workshops. Students from California, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania attended.

ITF Dutch Seminar with Grandmaster Choi Jung Hwa
From Thursday October 4th till Monday October 8th 2007 the Dutch Taekwon-do Federation (DTF) was host to the ITF President, Grandmaster Choi Jung Hwa. The President was invited to The Netherlands to conduct a 3-day seminar. Taekwon-do practitioners from The Netherlands, Croatia, Czech Republic, Norway, Ireland, England, Germany and even Canada and other countries all traveled to Krommenie to participate in this seminar.

Additional Benefits of the ITF Black Belt Status Card
Black Belt Status Cards have multiple benefits. The ITF black belt status card is required for national and international competitions and events. However, they have come in handy on several other occasions as well for this Taekwon-Do student/instructor.

We are stunned by the absolute manipulation of information and blatant disregard for the truth displayed by a group claiming to be of International standing, and up holding the tenets of Taekwon-Do. This group actually cited General Choi himself in the lawsuit claiming that he did not act in the best interest of the ITF. This is a sad day for all ITF members when individuals from within your own family seek to dismantle our founder’s inspirations.

Master Choi Jung Hwa SENIOR SEMINAR – UK
