ATA held its 6th Championships in Herat Province of Afghanistan

Ehsan Safi Taekwon-Do Association,
which is Afghan Taekwon-Do Association’s Representative in Herat, conducted
its 6^th Championships on Friday, June 12, 2015. The event was
held in Mirwais-e-Shaheed Gymnasium of Herat City. More than 100
competitors, from 6 different schools such as Ehsan Safi, Aasheq Razm,
Tabaan, Al-Sadaat, Hashemi, Durakhshan and Shuja, participated the event in
three different age categories. The event included four ITF disciplines, such
as free sparring, pattern, self-defense, and pre-arranged sparring. Ehsan
Safi, Al-Sadaat, and Hashemi winning 19, 3 and 3 Gold Medals, got 1st,
2nd, and 3rd positions.

At the end of the event Mr.
Mohammad Qasem Hamidi, Deputy Director of the Physical Education of
Afghanistan, Mr. Abdul Qayum Jami, Director of Physical Education of Herat, and
Mr. Adbul Moeen Saboor, President of Herat Athletes Association distributed the
medals, cups, awards, and the ITF certificates of 9 ATA members who promoted to
1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd Degrees.
