Why do some large tournament dates have to flipping clash???!!!!!!!

There are 2 this October on the same week end! 2 that i would have liked to go to!

Surely if they were on different dates, ppl would have a chance to do both and bring revenue to both?? When sorting out a date, i think organisers should look at what other events are on at that time and work around it. Makes more sense to me. First come, first served so to speak.

Some ppl just like to compete and arn't interested in the politics of which comp they SHOULD be attending! FREEDOM TO CHOOSE WITHOUT REPERCUSSIONS!!!!!!!!

This kind of stuff should have been left in the playground where it belongs..........

This is why Imperial host its events on the same weekend every year, helps with continuity.

We have 5 major events through out the UK, our October event is by far the largest ITF event in the UK and split over 2 days. 2009 saw 700+ with some international guests from Italy, Spain, Argentina, Wales and Scotland.

I agree, why someone would to try and compete with an established event doesn't make any sense? Each to there own, Maybe they trying to steal some of our "thunder" lol

Will we see you this year !

Well i'm guessing most ITF'ers would choose an ITF SANCTIONED event over one that isn't. If your serious about competing and competing for National titles.

That's why it makes more sense to stagger the comp's so that would enable the ppl who would take preference to the ITF SANCTIONED event, to also compete in the other event should they choose to. Staging them on the same day will surely lose numbers for the non-itf sanctioned event??

hmm.....no offence to anyone.....but it seems to me that if a WOMAN had organised things, logic would have kicked in by now and they'd have realised the revenue potential of having different dates and that more revenue made would help with funding our Elite at other events!!!! Unless of course that woman had no logic!!! lol

Will you be seeing me in October? If i manage to harness the knack of teleportation by then, there's a very good chance!

Will we be seeing you at our Midland Open?!

Thx, but little busy with squad training before the world championships in Korea this July. Looking forward to that trip, should be fun.

However "Never say Never" my schedule may clear up....
