if your partner or loved one had to have surgery that was going to leave them scarred, would this change how you saw them or how you felt about them? I mean, would it put you off them a bit? Would you find them less attractive for instance? Honest answers please!

Tall, short, fat, thin, scarred or not, it is what is inside that really counts, and I think most will agree.

I have been married for 16 years in June this year, and part of the wedding vows we took were "for better or worse, richer or poorer, in sickness and in health", and we have certainly had our fair share of the bad end of the scale, but we are still going strong!!!

it would be nice if everyone thought that way about it. In sickness and in health and all that. Whether ur married or not married, if you loved someone you would stand by them regardless.

Exactly!! Its the soul of the person that you fall in love with, the rest is superficial, imho anyway..

i totally agree Evan. And if you're lucky enough to have found your soul mate, they would stick by you through anything. I firmly believe everyone has a soul mate somewhere on this earth and if you're lucky enough to find them, never let them go.
