ATA Herat Team Celebrated the Vicotory of the Association

On the 30th of June 2011, Ehsan Safi Taekwon-Do Association, ATA branch in Herat Province, celebrated the victory of ATA in obtaining the 2nd position and winning the title of  The Best Disciplined Team in the National Championships held back from 27th through 29th May 2011 in Kabul. 

 Mr. Abdul Qayoum Jami, Head of Provincial Sport Department of Herat, Mr. Sharif Ahmad Faizi, President of the Herat Martial Arts Federation, Taekwon-Do Instructors of ITF and WTF, parents and the members of ATA in Herat were invited at the ceremony.

The ceremony commenced with prayers followed by a brief report of the championships and speech of Mr. Faizi who spoke on behalf of Herat Provincial Sport Department.

 The 2nd portion of the ceremony was designed for ITF Taekwon-Do demonstrations and distribution of awards and certificates to the members of Ehsan Safi Taekwon-Do Association. It is worth mentioning that Mr. Safiullah Safi presented the Students Oath and the Tenets of Taekwon-Do in the form of a poem to the audiences. The presentation was really appreciated by all. The ceremony was broadcasted twice by a local TV called Tabaan.


On the 11th of July 2011, another ceremony on the occasion of opening/ inauguration of the two new ITF Taekwon-Do schools, Taabesh and Durukhshan in the villages of Ghoraan and Kalata Behbud, was organized by Ehsan Safi Taekwon-Do Association at the center of the Guzara District. 


The Education Manager of Guzara District, a delegation of the education inspection team, principles of different schools, ITF Taekwon-Do instructors and the representatives of the aforementioned villages were invited to the ceremony.


The ceremony was mix of speeches, ITF demonstration, distribution of awards, and TV interviews. The entire ceremony was broadcasted four times by the National TV of Herat.
