Martial Artists strive to be more than proficient in our art, we also must strive to be not just among the best members of society, we must strive to be among the best of the best. A strong and moral police force is the foundation for a strong society. Special Assistant to the President of the ITF, Master Parm Rai is a well respected Detective in the Toronto Police Force in Canada. On November 14th 2011, he was awarded The Police Exemplary Service Award on behalf of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth. Many in the ITF recognize the outstanding contributions Master Rai makes to the Federation and to the art of Taekwon-Do. A wonderful person within a wonderful organization however does not really benefit society as a whole if the person never functions outside of the Federation. Master Rai's dedication to peace, justice and equality through his more than 20 years as a police officer has represented all members of the ITF in a way that holds true to our values as Martial Artists. Congratulations Master Parm Rai.
