BackMr. Robert O Shea

15th April 2010

It is with a heavy heart that I inform you of the passing away of Mr. Robert O Shea, 4th Dan.

Mr. O Shea was sick for the past week. A life long practitioner of Taekwon-Do, he began his training in 1982. He was the grading examiner for Grenagh, Bweeng and Rathpecon Taekwon-Do schools. His deep love for the art was aptly demonstrated by his many wonderful photographs of the various competitions and events throughout the years.

Robert was an artist at heart, a very straight and honest man. He was a wonderful family man. Those of us that consider him our friend will forever miss the special times spent in his presence. Our lives were enriched by his presence. It is extremely difficult to accept his passing but his spirit will remain etched in our memories. His students Mr. Daren Healy and Mr. Alan Walsh were true friends-the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

He will remain in Taekwon-Do through their students. The IUTF would like to offer our sincere condolences to his family. Robbie, our friend, our brother, who was loved by all that know him, will be sadly missed.
