Lol, our minds would have been boggled!! Boggled, hmmm, sounds a bit weird, is that even a word?? By three bird roast do you mean stuffed inside one another or seperate? Either way sounds delicious, chrissie will be a good one around your place this year by the sounds of it!

Just had our end of year break up at the dojang this evening. 3 hour seminar with our old Sabum followed by pizza and soft drink. Was very good although somewhat oppressive. It was 38C today and the aircon is broken. We train in a hired hall with hard polished floors which you get used to after a while but given todays heat and a 3 hour session, lets just say I haven't sweat so much in years. Even the soles of my feet were sweating which meant that when going through the fundamentals, I kept almost slipping over stepping into the next technique. The pizza and soft drink went down very well!!

Star, Sounds great. Make room for one more at the table for Christmas Dinner.

Star,

It's less than a blink away with a wormhole. Mr. Skyrme can explain at the next banquet.

Why not be the first to go for it; three ducks stuffed like the Russian doll(s); one inside the other!
Then share the photo. There is still time to win a photo award for 2009.

But there is something special about the number 3, as in Taekwon-Do. Could that be the sub-conscious reason why 3 and not 4 birds? You could add a pheasant. Or 5 with an ostrich.

Okay, okay; So German coffee is strong! A few Tuls and I will be okay. ( ; )

a wormhole?? I guess thats's a 'Stargate'kinda term! be interesting to c how far you could go with this bird stuffing thing! Lol. Yeah.Bob, go easy on the caffeine :) Well, only got to work Wednesday this wk-woop woop! Got to do the food shopping today. It'll be manic. Anyone would think the shops are going to close for a month the way people act. I tried makin some Polish pierogi the other day! Lol. Umm. . . . . It didn't quite work! Well they worked but were pretty tasteless. Took me AGES to make them too. Gonna do mince pies next.although i do buy some from Birds bakery too. For anyone living in Derby or Notts, they know the bakery i mean! Its the best! I make a good potato salad too, made to my grandma-in-law's own German recipe. Yum.

so....what's everyone doing for xmas??

Anyone going somewhere hot to escape it all??

Picture this Star:
Wearing just swim shorts; rocked by gentle trade winds in a rope hammock under a coconut tree; on a white beach; under blue skies; barbecue smell in the air; and drinking tequila sunrise.  That is me in that picture on the US island of Guam in the Pacific Ocean.  Winter can be so nice !

Hi Star,

Yes, here on a real paradise island, Guam; less than four hours flight from Korea.

Just back from a light run along the beach & hotels row and a swim in the Pacific. Children spelling out "Happy New Year " with seashells on the sand. Lots of water sports. Flowers everywhere.

You freezing back there. Life can be so unjust.

Will take pictures in Dobok for my website.

How was the turkey & co. dinner?
Judging by gifts received, did Santa think you were good this year?

Sounds like a memorable Christmas Mr Borja!!

M Star, I too would like to know how the "turduckin" as the americans call it went? I bet it was delicious. Christmas was superb here, a nice and mild 25C, great food and some nice German wheat beer in the esky that at $70 a carton was a lot more expensive than it would be in Germany I'd imagine..

I was not so fortunate but I am thinking of buying myself a belated present in the form of the extended encyclopedia. Anyone know if you can still buy it in book form and where from? On Comdo.com they said it is out of print but had the CD ROM version with the condensed book as a deal.

Good to hear it turned out well.. We all over do it a bit at this time of the year ;) One year I got a bit carried away with the tequila on Christmas eve and couldn't eat a thing all Christmas day. I don't drink tequila anymore, over done it a few times too many with that vicious stuff lol..
