Good evening Sir

Please could you clarify movement 40 in Kodang for me.

In the manual it states " Turn to face D while forming a right bending ready stance B toward C, and then execute a middle back piercing kick to D with the left foot. Perform in slow motion"

Should I perform the bending ready stance B and the back piercing kick in slow motion or just the back piercing kick in slow motion?

Thank you and Happy New Year

Bernadette

Thank you Alasdair, I have seen different variations on movement 40, some just doing the back piercing kick slowly. How are you finding the pattern? Its a tough one!!

I like it, just wish I could do the slow motion bits and the dodging reverse hooking kicks a bit better. I will be glad when I grade and can move on to the next lot. Good luck with your grading in April!!!

Hi All,

If the bending ready stance was executed in normal speed it would be listed as a seperate movement as in Moon-Moo movements 19 & 20, & 22 & 23. As the bending stance is in the same movement description as the back piercing kick it is all in slow motion.

Hope That helps.

Glenn.
