Hello Forum Members, Volume 11 of the 3rd (1993) edition of the Encyclopedia of Taekwon-Do shows Gen. Choi Hong Hi with the left hand in front of the right hand, from the viewer's direction (Page 19). The person demonstrating the additional techniques for Kwang-Gae shows the same on Page 10. However, this same person shows the right hand in front of the left at the start of the Tul on Page 23. For the Po-Eun ready posture this same person has the left hand in front. Which hand should be in front? Thank you.

In the same way that in Moa Junbi Sogi C the Left hand is further away from the body than the right hand, the same is true for hanul-son.. i.e the right hand is over the left

The right Hand is always hidden for the viewer. Means not completely but as much as possible. So the right hand is always near to the body.
