I just wanted to say to 5 of my students and the 2 from Hemel Hempstead LTSI good luck at the 2nd LTSI Black Belt Exam taking place this Sunday.

These members have to sit the following:
  • 45 minute written exam
  • 4 Hour physical exam includes all tulls, 6 breaks each, 10 point self defence randam attacks, light and hard contact sparring. all set sparring including Advance hands, Advanced Hands and foot, Advanced jumping attacks and defence and take downs and choke holds.

A very tougth exam indeed but I am sure after seeing all at the mock exam they will do the LTSI proud.  Good luck to all of them on there quest to reach there next levels.

It has to be said the promotion was extreamly intensive under the Black Belt Panel of the LTSI who looked at ever pattern and made each candidate put there best into the exam.

Examiner was Myself, Essessors were Mr S. Smith 3rd Degree and Mr M. Pierce 2nd Degree.

Well done to all the candidates you done us proud.

Tae Kwon.

PS How the scoring works is all done on a point system, Each candidate starts on 100% on each ellement and loses points for mistakes made with pass being 53% to 62%  to achieve a distinction students MUST achieve 86% in all ellements.
