The following appeared on BBC News yesterday concerning the 1982 assassination attempt involving GM Choi Jung Hwa.

I think it is a great thing that GM Choi returned to South Korea and shed some light on the topic. It shows his humbleness and need to rectify situations from the past.

It can only do good for the growth of ITF in South Korea as it gives some clarity to the people there. It takes the element of mystery out of the equation and gives the impression that the ITF is transparent and honest.

Master Choi is in Korea Now. He had to answer to the South Korean Government for his past. This has to be both difficult and exciting to return to your Home country after Thirty years. I'm glad i was never put in this situation.

Taekwon

This trip was history in the making for the ITF and Pres. Choi. I will be submitting a report on Pres. Choi's visit shortly on the web site. Master Choi and his delegation were greeted with open arms. As President Choi states. "It was General Choi's dream to bring ITF back to South Korea." Master Choi did it.
Full report soon.

Hello Sirs,

In light of international dynamics, it was a very brave act of Grand Master Choi Jung Hwa to return to South Korea.

Regardless of anyone's past to include President Choi's, he's done a lot of great things for the Taekwon-Do community. Sometimes it seems we only remember the negative regardless of all the good a person has done. I'm confident and proud of President Choi's decision and look forward to seeing the ITF grow in South Korea.

I wonder how long it will be before the North Koreans start slating Master Choi.
It's important that we let all Taekwon-Doists know the true events behind Master Choi's life and the reasons that led to his turbulent times.

Right now more than ever, we must stand united against any attempt to slander our ITF and our president.

Taekwon !
