hi all, i have been carrying a hamstring injury for going on 2 years now and was wondering if anyone has experience of using foam rollers or tennis balls as a way to help fix it. i'm going to give it a go but any feedback from anyone who has used them would be appreciated

you use them for a deep massage by putting it under your leg while sitting on the floor and then sliding up and down and it targets deep into the muscle to get rid of any scar tissue(allegedly). by what i have read so far it's supposed to really work but i thought i would see if anyone on here had actually tried it out. there is loads of videos of the method on youtube, have a wee nosy and see what you think.

cool.will take a look.

Even if it does nothing for your hamstring,it'll feel nice and break down cellulite!!! (not that men seem to have much of that)

Mr Mullin

There's an article on this very subject in the May issue of Martial Arts Illustrated, there's an email address for the author and he's on Facebook for more information.  Although it's in a national mag I didn't want to post that info here so if you want to PM me I'll give you the details if you think it'll be of use..... or nip into WH Smiths and have a quick read  Wink, article is near the back of MAI, (June issue out soon so be quick)
