3rd Technical Seminar, and 5th Championships held in Herat Province of Afghanistan.

On Thursday, the 22nd of June 2014, Mr. Najmuddin Safi President of Afghan Taekwon-Do Association and Official Representative of ITF for Afghanistan, conducted a technical seminar for ATA members in Herat province of Afghanistan. About 100 participants attended the seminar which focused only on patterns. At the end of seminar 31 practitioners lined up for grading for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Degrees.
ATA President, Mr. Najmuddin Safi, was warmly welcomed by
Mr. Ehrary the President of Olympic Committee of Herat province on 22nd June
2014. Both Mr. Ehrary and Mr. Safi discussed about the development of ITF in
the province. Mr. Safi appreciated the support of the Herat Olympic Committee
extended to ATA members. In this meeting, Mr. Najmuddin Safi was accompanied by
Mr. Moeen Sabour, President of Sport Union, Mr. Safiullah Safi, President of
Ehas Safi Taekwon-Do Association and ATA Representative for Herat Province, and
a number of ATA Herat based instructors.
On Friday, the 23rd of June 2014, 5th Championships of Afghan Taekwon-Do Association (Ehsan Safi Taekwon-Do Association) was conducted in the same province. The event was held in Mirwais-e-Shaheed Gymnasium of Herat City. 73 competitors, from 6 different schools in three different age categories participated the event. The event included four ITF disciplines, such as free sparring, pattern, self-defense, and pre arranged sparring. Ehsan Safi, Shirzai, and Alsadaat, winning 17, 4 and 3 Gold Medals, got 1st, 2nd, and 3rd positions. Mr. Aqa Mohammad, a disabled guy who has lost his left hand due to the war in
Afghanistan, won the title of the best fighter in this even.
The event was broadcasted through different local and National, and International TVs.
